Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has extended a helping hand to independent national shuttler S. Kisona by contributing RM100,000 to support her journey towards qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The sponsorship from Matrix Concepts will help cover her tournament and training expenses, allowing her to focus on returning to top form. Kisona expressed her gratitude for the support, describing it as a renewed source of motivation to continue pursuing her badminton career. Now fully recovered from injury, she is training under coach Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif and aims to break into the world’s top 20 rankings. She also highlighted that training alongside male sparring partners has improved her speed, strength, and overall game.

Matrix Concepts founder Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock said the company was pleased to support Kisona after learning about her situation. In addition to the financial sponsorship, Matrix has provided her with a complimentary membership at the Sendayan Badminton Club to support her training.
