Matrix Concepts 1Q net profit drops marginally on absence of one-off gain, declares 1.4 sen dividend

The Story.

Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd recorded an 11% increase in revenue to RM315.58 million for 1QFY2027, although net profit declined 4.4% year-on-year to RM60.19 million. The lower profit was mainly due to the absence of a RM6.1 million one-off gain recorded in the previous year and higher selling and marketing expenses. Matrix declared a 1.40 sen interim dividend.

Property development remained Matrix’s main revenue contributor, accounting for 93.8% of quarterly revenue. Sendayan Developments remained the largest contributor at RM176.7 million, while Levia Residence nearly doubled its contribution to RM52.7 million. MVV City also contributed RM21.3 million from industrial property sales, while Bandar Seri Impian recorded a 42.2% increase in contribution.

Matrix also recorded RM416.7 million in new property sales, with RM1.5 billion in unbilled sales at the end of June 2026, providing earnings visibility for the next 15–18 months.
