Matrix Concept Holdings Bhd has donated RM21,000 to assist seven families who lost their homes in a recent fire in Labu, Negri Sembilan.
Each family will receive RM3,000 to cover essential needs as they relocate.
Matrix Concept worked closely with Rasah member of parliament Cha Kee Chin, Negri Sembilan local government, development, housing and transport committee chairman Arul Kumar Jambunathan and the Social Welfare Department to assess the families’ immediate and long-term needs.
This initiative is part of Matrix Concept’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and supporting local communities during times of crisis.
“The support is particularly urgent as the families must vacate SK Labu Ulu by this Sunday ahead of the new school term.
“This contribution will help them secure essential items and settle into their new homes more comfortably,” said Cha.
Matrix Concept director Kelvin Lee Chin Chuan said it is important for the company to give back to the community.
“We hope our contribution can provide some relief and comfort during this difficult time. We are committed to supporting them as they rebuild their lives,” he added.
